Our fist trip was Navy Federal Credit Union with Roger, Steve, Nate and Dominic. We had to go in early because of "rough weather" and engine problems, but we boated 2 out of 5. The first was 34" and the second was 36". We lost three, one stripped 1/2 a spool on a Penn 330, so it was a pretty big one. Everyone had some action and a good time, and will be back next Saturday for a bachelor party.

The second trip was with the Barton family, Genie, Julia, and Bill. It started out with calm seas, but a wind shift from the north turned for it the worse again. We boated our first within 10 minutes of putting out the lines. Within an hour we had boated our third fish and started a south troll. After 4 1/2 hours we had limited out and released another 10. The largest kept was 39 inches. We released two over 40 inches. By 4:30 we had 25kt winds, with 35 gusts, but fifteen year old Julia Barton was a fishing fanatic and took the rough seas like a pro.
