This fishing report is the latest trip we took. We have 4 others that I will post as soon as I get time. We took the Brian Shatz crew out starting at the chicken bone. A lot of boats were working the same area, and it makes the fish skiddish, but we were able to pick up a nice gaffer dolphin. We lost a few also. We decided the JoBu hooks need to go. We decided to troll out to a place north east of the hot dog to see what we could find. On the way we picked up another gaffer dolphin about 25 pounds. When we finally got there we saw something you usually only see on the discovery channel. Thousands of birds working, life all around, and we were marking huge bait balls, It was awesome. We had one of the biggest blue marlin I have ever seen in our spread. There was so much bait I don't think he was hungry. He just lazed around checking things out. We picked up a nice yellow fin tuna, but unfortunately since we only had one engine, we had to head back after only a couple of passes. We ended up 2 for 5 with gaffer dolphin, one real nice at 25 pounds and a nice 45 pound yellowfin. Thanks Brian and crew see you soon. Pictures and video will soon follow. I left the camera battery charger on the boat and can't download them.

Capt. Jeremy and Capt. Justin had a good trip today with the Dale Waters charter. They went to the Washington Canyon and brought back three nice yellowfin tuna. Two were 35 - 40 pounds and one weighed 68 pounds. They were using ballyhoo and spreader bars. They released 4 under sized yellow fin and lost 4 more. The good thing is we have some nice video to show.

Capt. Justin and Nathan had a real good day today. A lot of the boats had trouble finding the fish, but Justin found and kept at it and caught 9 nice size Rockfish from 24" to 32". Those are good size Rockfish for this time of year in the middle bay. A good way to introduce two young boys to the sport. Great crew of guys, hope we see them again soon.
